I believe that the lion king franchise was a huge success because they were huge with little kids.they were also successful with a lot of the things they sold happy meal toys,dvds,blankets,stuffed animals,toys.it also came out with a tv show that kept it alive for years.they made their money back plus way more. according to box office mojo their budget was 45 million and they made $422,783,777. they had some of the best voice actors which also helped the movie. one actor was matthew broderick and good directors roger allers, rob minkoff which made the movie more hype. It also turned into a brodway musical which is pretty cool ive been to one of them with my sister.
